George H.R. Anderton b. 1880 in London, emigrated to Canada
contributed by Nicole Gardiner

Descendants and ancestors (if you know them) of Robert Anderton, born 1858 in London, England. Married Hannah L. (maiden surname unknown) born 1859 in London as well. I do not know of other siblings but would suspect there are some.

My great-grandfather was born George Horace Robert Anderton, August 6, 1880 in London. He emigrated to Canada some time around early 1900's and fought as part of the Canadian Expeditionary Force in WWI.

He married Mabel Woodgate, born in Orpington, Kent and they had children; Leonard George born in 1921 and passed away in 1979 and also Ernest Anderton born between 1918 and 1920.

Leonard Anderton then married Jessica Matheson MacDonald. They had children; Gail (b. 1946), Roderick (b.1949), Beverly (b. 1952), and Valerie (b.1959).

Gail would be my mother.

If anyone would like to exchange any info I would be more than happy to.
