I found out about 2 years ago that my Great-grandmother was named Caryann Anderton born in Alabama. I have been trying to find out when she died and where she is buried.

James Anderton was born in 1760 in Virginia. He married Phebe Chaney and later Peggy Morris in 1794 in Jefferson Co. Tennessee. They had the following children:

James Anderton and Jane Smith were listed as parents of Etta Anderton on her death certificate. Etta was born in TN in 1881. She married a lawyer in Sparta TN named Elzy Kirby (b. 1866). I would like to know other children of James and Jane, where they came from, dates, etc.

Etta Anderton later moved from Tennessee to Florida and married Joseph Paul Robles.
