E. ADVICE FOR USING THE MAILING LIST

Post your interests frequently. About once a month should be enough. New members are joining the list all the time so it's useful for them to see regular postings by older members.

Post with as much information as possible. Include given names, dates and geographical area when possible. Put some of this information in the subject line - the word ANDERTON will be placed automatically when the message is sent. This will make it easier for other members to see if they can help you.

You can write names in capital letters for clarity, but remember not to write all the message in capitals as this is considered as "shouting" and is therefore, bad manners on the Internet. Do NOT send attachments to the mailing list as they cannot be read by the RootsWeb mailing list system and will "bounce".

Good Luck & Have Fun!
